Improving the supply chain with automation
We’ve all experienced disruptions to the supply chain this past year. From toilet paper shortages at the beginning of the pandemic to the more recent lack of lumber, the scarcities that are impacting our everyday lives have demonstrated to businesses that improving the supply chain with digital solutions is necessary.
My recent webinar, Why supply chain automation? Deliver on consumer demand with unique solutions, co-hosted with my colleague Gautam Narayanan, tackled these challenges. In the webinar, we explored how automation can help close the gap in how businesses address rapidly shifting consumer demand. This included a discussion of how to blend end-to-end automation engineering with human-centered design, the specific challenges facing the supply chain, and an illustration of PK’s approach to supply chain automation.
